This mid-century modern style lamp features a unique body crafted from a vintage mid-century modern style laminated bentwood chair arm. A handmade drum shade with mid-century modern pattern diffuses the warm light provided by an LED bulb. The lamp base was cut from a vintage pine board. Florida CraftArt.

Bauhaus
A Bauhaus School inspired desk/table lamp, with a few elements that stand out. It begins with a gloss black conical base. The body is an inverted glass pendant lamp reflector, mounted on a chrome tube. The half-spherical metal shade is painted a gloss white. The Yen and Yang are joined by the warm golden light coming from the glass body.

This desk/table lamp features a glass body from a ceiling pendant glass fixture, with a brown abstract pattern on outside. The custom handmade shade uses Michael Miller designed “Atomic Cats” fabric. Lighting is all LED, providing a soft warm light in the lamp base, and an equally warm white reading light under the shade, on top. Approximate Dimensions: 27” x 9” x 9.”

A retro-styled Rocket Ship desk/table lamp. The base likely came from a desk lamp. The body is from a repurposed vintage mid 20th century coffee maker. A bullet-shaped clear bubbled glass dome rests on an inverted desk lamp base, mounted on top of the lamp body. This lamp features a red mini LED at bottom, and a red LED bulb in the top dome.

Starship
This lamp springs from imagining the Enterprise from Star Trek. The body is a vintage cast aluminum 3-light ceiling fixture (1920s-30s), turned upside down and mounted on a desk lamp base. The white globe on top in front is balanced by the 2 “warp engines” in back.
Notes of Light
This unique desk/table lamp features a body from a vintage guitar neck. It rests within a block of cedar and sits on a square metal base. A rotary on/off switch comes through the rosewood fingerboard. A double-curved lamp pipe comes up behind the guitar neck, and comes through the headstock. Six pearl dots fill the holes where the tuning machine posts were, and three more are on the fingerboard. The entire lamp was given a glossy lacquer finish – black for all, except the fingerboard, which was left natural. The lamp has a handmade cloth shade with a musical-themed print. Warm white illumination is provided by two LED bulbs.

Wood and Glass
This table lamp started out from some kind of “Lazy Susan” style wooden turntable, for some unknown purpose. It is supported by a wood furniture leg, mounted on a turned wood base. A domed-shaped white frosted globe is mounted on top, directly to a cavity in the turntable.

The base of this retro table/desk lamp was repurposed fromAnother table lamp. It’s beautiful teardrop shape leads the eye right to the custom handmade shade, featuring Michael Miller designed and mid-century modern themed “Atomic Cats” fabric.
Green and White
A desk/table lamp, with a body repurposed from a ceiling pendant fixture reflector. A half round frosted white globe from another ceiling fixture adorns the top. When lit, the lamp base gives off a cool green glow, while the soft white light from the top provides illumination for reading or just admiring. Approximate dimensions: 17” x 7” x 7”.
AirJet
This funky accent light was created using an upcycled 1940s vintage Oster Airjet hair dryer. The warm red glow coming from the dryer mouth is provided by an LED edison-style bulb. The original Off-On switch is used to add the final touch.
The Cyclist
This desk/table lamp features a seafoam blue-painted body created with an upcycled stainless steel commercial drip coffee maker, as seen so often in diners. A bicycle racing-style handlebar is mounted on top of the inverted drip coffee maker. Red LED lights emerge from both ends of the bars, and a round frosted white globe is mounted on top, in the center, with a warm white glow from an LED bulb. Approximate dimensions - 20” h x 17” w x 10” d.
Dragon
A unique desk/reading lamp, created from recycled vintage components. A brass fire hose nozzle supports a swiveling desk lamp with LED bulbs, producing a warm and clear reading light. On the base, composed of solid oak and vintage heart pine, a vintage solid brass dragon keeps watch over things.
Ice Bucket
The body of this unique and fun mood/accent lamp was repurposed from a stainless steel mid-century modern styled ice bucket. The sleek modern look is completed by the bullet-shaped frosted glass dome that seamlessly connects to the body. A warm light from an LED bulb provides pleasing illumination. - Sold at Artisans Guild Gallery, Gainesville FL.

Fan of Light - Front view
This unique table/desk lamp was created out of a non-working vintage Emerson Electric desk fan, from the 1940s. It features a warm white light, provided by 3 LED tubular Edison-style bulbs where the fan blades used to be. In addition to the main lights, a blue light shines through vent holes in the front of the motor housing. The lighting is controlled from the original fan switch, allowing for white lights only, blue lights only, or both at once. Artisans Guild Gallery sale.
UFO
This UFO was created from upcycled automotive, kitchen and audio components, The underside of the body started out as a metal hubcap with top of the body sourced from a large metal speaker frame. The Flying Saucer sits on a conical vertical riser and a chrome round base, which started out as a lid to some kind of pot. Blue LED light bulbs Mounted inside the UFO shine through white styrene “windows” that have flexible wire electronics shielding stretched and adhered to each one. Openings in the bottom wheel cover are covered with styrene bonded to blue fabric.

Spur Gear
This steampunk-themed table/desk lamp features a vintage 10” long wooden spur gear, that appears to have been hand carved. A handmade shade with “gears and pipes” print fabric completes this unique, one of a kind piece in style. Approximate dimensions: 21” x 9” x 9”.

The body of this fun desk/table lamp is from a vintage gumball machine – made in Taiwan. It features a red cast metal body, with its original clear glass globe. A desk/table lamp, featuring a round stainless steel base, approx 5” diameter. Body is a vintage mid-century modern styled frosted glass ceiling pendant lamp shade, with painted abstract designs . It is topped off with a frosted flat globe. The lamp features a blue LED bulb in its body, and a white LED bulb on top.
