I have been making music since the late 1970s, mostly on mandolin and guitar. I play old-time, Cajun, Creole, swamp pop and Americana/bluegrass.
I am currently a member of $5 Short, Gumbo Limbo Cajun Band, The Gadabouts, The Yazoo Kickstarts, Wild Bill’s Traveling Circus and the Rochelle Ramblers.

$5 Short delivers a great mix of old and new tunes and songs. They draw from their collective experiences and a lot of years of playing Oldtime, Cajun, Country, Americana and other styles. From Oldtime standards to original songs and tunes, they do it all.

The Rochelle Ramblers keep toes tapping and ears listening, as they weave their songs, tunes and stories into an entertaining and engaging tapestry of sound. Their music comes from many places and many sources. Audiences may hear songs from Florida and elsewhere, hard driving dance tunes, and who knows what else.
The Ramblers are Bill Paine (mandolin, guitar, vocals), Bob Parsons (mandolin, guitar, fiddle, vocals), Janine Rainville (bass, vocals) and Gary Zimmerman (fiddle, guitar, vocals). They all live in North Florida, Bill – Rochelle, Janine and Bob – Pomona Park, and Gary – Hawthorne.
